Beggar on the street - March 26, 2010

On my way home, I saw this poor beggar lying on the street. A lot of people passing by were not really minding him. At first, I was quite hesitant to take pictures of him. I didn't even had the courage to come close to him, fearing that he might get mad. But after awhile, I realized that if I can take pictures of this man, I may encourage more people to help individuals like him who live some of their days without even eating. I just felt so lucky that I get to eat at least 3 times a day and manage to live a prosperous life. I hope in the coming years, we Filipinos could find a way to uplift the status of our nation and lessen the weight carried by men like these.
